Wayne A. Loots
Dean of Business & Industry Services,
Wake Tech Community College
Wayne Loots, Certified Public Accountant, has developed educational programs for many Wake County companies and individuals since joining the staff of Wake Technical Community College in 1989. He has served as director of the college’s Small Business Center and is currently Dean of Business & Industry Services.
As a CPA, Small Business Center Director and Division Dean at Wake Tech, he has helped more than 4,000 entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. As a certified export trainer, Mr. Loots has also trained personnel from more than 100 businesses in the export process, helping them expand their businesses into the international arena.
He is Chair for the Town of Cary Economic Policy Commission, Past Chairman of the International Practice Committee with the North Carolina Association of CPAs, and a former Boy Scout Troop Commissioner.
Mr. Loots received his BBA from the University of Wisconsin. He also attended the University of Miami in Florida and participated in Life Long Education at NC State University and Wake Technical Community College.
