| The U.S. Government offers a wealth of international trade resources through organizations such as the Department of Commerce, Department of State, Export-Import Bank, U.S. Trade Representative, U.S. Customs Service, Central Intelligence Agency, The Senate, House of Representatives and The White House. Many of these resources are accessible at no charge and are recommended as a first stop for research and questions related to global trade.
Although not a U.S. Government Agency, we have also included the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in this list. They work closely with a number of government agencies at the federal, state and local level as a powerful advocate for world trade. The U.S. Chamber not only promotes international commerce, but researches and takes positions on crucial issues and actively lobbies Congress to take actions and pass legislation favorable to doing business in a global economy.
