The Research Triangle Region's global strategy seeks to expand international investment and trade relations with companies worldwide, primarly those working in areas related to the region's 10 targeted clusters.
The World Trade Center of North Carolina, a program of the Research Triangle Regional Partnership, coordinates the region's global strategy.
The 45-step strategy, called "Focusing All Eyes on the Horizon," aligns the many organizations and resources in the 13-county region to attract more direct investment from foreign companies and increase trade opportunities for local companies.
The strategy builds on the tactics and successful collaborations of the regional competitiveness strategy, called "Staying on Top: Winning the Job Wars of the Future," a $5 million, five-year plan to create 100,000 jobs in the region and boost employment in all 13 counties.
Contact the WTCNC for more information on the global strategy, become involved or get help doing business internationally.
